DR. GRANT STEVENS, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Board Certified Rhinoplasty Surgeon

Dr. Grant Stevens is the Medical Director of Plastic Surgery Associates in Marina del Rey and Palos Verdes. He specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery. He is an active member at Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital where he is the past chairman of The Department of Surgery. He is on staff at St. John's Medical Center and the Medical Director at the Marina Outpatient Surgery Center.

EDUCATION

Dr. Stevens graduated with honors from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis where he was awarded the Senior Prize in Surgery. He completed his general surgery training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, then returned to Barnes Hospital where he completed a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Board Certified Diplomate of The American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons and The International College of Surgeons. He was appointed by the governor to The Medical Board of California Medical Quality Review Board and is on The Plastic Surgery Faculty at both UCLA and USC. Dr. Stevens has been an invited visiting professor at Loma Linda University, University of Southern California, Switzerland and Denmark. There he has taught plastic surgeons, performed surgery, lectured on ultrasonic liposuction, breast surgery and advances in laser surgery.

PUBLICATIONS

Dr. Stevens has authored numerous publications that have appeared in professional journals. He has also lectured at international, national and regional meetings with presentations to such groups as The Swiss Plastic Surgery Society, The Danish Plastic Surgery Society, The Plastic Surgery Research Council, The American Association of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and The California Society of Plastic Surgeons.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Dr. Stevens is a member of many medical societies including The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society For Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The International College of Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons. He is the past chairman of The California Medical Association Advisory Panel on Plastic Surgeon. Dr. Stevens received the California State Assembly and California State Senate Certificate of Recognition. He has received The Distinguished Service Citation from The Medical Board of California.
